The Pinch Charleston

We had a wonderful experience at The Pinch. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The overall design of the hotel and attention to detail doesn’t really get any better. Our 2 bedroom suite felt new, VERY clean, modern but still warm. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen was there - down to a lemon juicer. Beautiful fixtures, lighting and flooring. Also - can’t beat the location. SO central to downtown Charleston, but the room was quiet. Look forward to staying here again.

The Pinch is a gem and defines southern hospitality. I stayed in the One Bedroom Premier Suite and was impressed by the size of the room and the level of detail at every corner. It was wonderful to have a kitchen and wash/dryer in the room. The staff and concierge will go out of their way to make sure you have the perfect stay and are thoughtful and generous. We had dinner at the Lowland Tavern restaurant in the hotel and it was excellent and the atmosphere perfect. I can't wait to stay here again.

I visit Charleston often and I have been very fortunate to stay at some of the best hotels in the downtown historic district but I must say The Pinch is special! It is a smaller, boutique property but the rooms are super spacious, beautifully appointed, and equipped with everything a traveler would ever need. The accommodations and service were outstanding and the location ideal. I absolutely loved the inspiring aesthetic that was so thoughtfully designed. Logan, Kelly, and Alyssa greeted us with a warm Charleston welcome from the beginning to the end of our stay. The Pinch is truly superior. I can’t wait to come back!

We found The Pinch accidentally while researching places to stay downtown. We were about to book another beautifully designed hotel downtown, but it was bigger and had more of a “hotel feel.” What stood out to use about The Pinch was the intimate setting, home-like spaced and comfort we experienced throughout the entire trip! We miss it already and will definitely stay there on our next visit to Charleston!

I was booked here for a work trip after previously being placed at The Dewberry. For someone in need of a space to feel like home while traveling, this is the best accommodations I’ve come across. The little details are just so fantastic, the rooms are perfectly spaced out and accommodate exactly what you need. My favorite brand Aesop is the choice toiletry and the staff was wonderful. Was able to walk to my client dinner with ease and even caught a spin class around there corner! Can’t wait to visit again!

Our recent visit to Charleston, South Carolina for our daughter’s wedding was made truly exceptional thanks to the wonderful experience at the Pinch. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the hotel goes above and beyond to ensure its guests have an unforgettable stay. The staff were nothing short of awesome. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and wealth of knowledge about the area truly stood out. They were not only attentive but also exceptionally helpful. No matter the question or request, they were quick to provide assistance with a genuine smile. It's clear that they take immense pride in their hotel. Upon entering the lobby, we were immediately impressed by the interior design. It seamlessly blends the rich history of Charleston with modern luxury, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and elegant. The carefully chosen furnishings and decor elements everywhere reflect the city's historic charm. We were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade to a spacious suite, which felt more like a luxurious apartment. This beautiful suite boasted a fully equipped kitchen, with a refrigerator stocked with drinks, a cozy living room complete with a generous TV, and a large velvet sofa, a well-stocked bar, a bathroom that included a convenient washer and dryer, luxurious Aesop products, and a generously sized and comfortable bedroom. What set the Pinch apart was the personal touch – a hand-written note that greeted us in our room. This thoughtful gesture made us feel welcomed and appreciated as guests. It's these small details that demonstrate the Pinch’s commitment to providing a unique and memorable experiences. We will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel!
